Well, the last day of the second week of fun is closing up! We had a lot of fun this under the sea week . Today, we wanted to aware the kids about a habitat but also wanted to tell them about the lifestyle of some creatures and how the food chain goes. We wanted to craft all of this together to make an interesting piece of art. With tremendous work, we made this unique project to form a horse shoe crab and a moonbird!!! All of our wonderful kids cooperated and collaboratively made a nice background for these creatures to stay. Catch up for more blogs, cause next week is going to be a blast!! Markeim is the place to be this summer!!
Kids are the best creators of art. Together or by themselves, these kids can express beauties. Every kid is unique and leaves wonderful memories to cherish. These kids are working together on projects that they did in the camp. In the last two photos are a few kids making sculptures as a group and building random objects into a piece of art. Some kids are there for the whole summer, which is great! and other kids leave a whole lot of experience, but little amount of days to have fun with.
This is a video of the wonderful things that the kids did in week 1. The Markeim arts centre is so proud of these artistic magicians.
The kids are doing art work related to under-the-sea creatures. This video shows a variety of art work that the kids did. While being in a group, the kids made their favorite under-the-sea creatures with various shapes cut out and provided to them. They also drew their favorite under-the-sea creatures. This video is made by me, Sabah Lala, a intern at the Markeim arts center, who is very friendly and always ready to help your kids. Time is flying by, and after this first week of fun, we have a whole new week of UNDER THE SEA experiences. The children will learn a lot about creatures under the sea and also be able to create their own creative drawings! These art lovers will work collaboratively and also learn how to share their ideas with each other and produce a unique and a whole new piece of art. Last week they passed with flying colors, working with us, the staff. And i am sure they will do the same with their peers. Look out for more articles right here and get to know about what your child is doing. |
